Coaching vs. Therapy

There is a lot of buzz about coaching and how it differs from therapy. Both are important in a person’s growth towards self-awareness and healing.

Coaching focuses on goals and what may be getting in your way of achieving them, by asking you the right open-ended questions that lead you to finding your own answers. Because no one is walking your path but you, as your coach, I always believe that you have the answers within you and you will come to them with my support and skillful techniques.

There is alot of un-learning we must commit to when embarking on a healing/growth path. All of us have limiting beliefs about ourselves and the way the world works for or against us and layers of conditioning from our experiences, families, religions, schooling, cultures, and society at large. Shedding these layers is like removing the obstacles in our path so that we can get to where or who we want to be next. As your coach, I will guide you and assist you in removing those obstacles.
